ADC's FiberGuide® system
- the industry's most comprehensive fibre raceway system
| |
|
 |
| As competition intensifies
in telecommunications markets, low cost, high bandwidth,
flexibility, and reliability will be the hallmarks of
successful service providers. Fibre is the obvious medium
for networks with these characteristics. But providers
will miss many of the benefits of fibre unless they get
the cable management right. Strong fibre cable management
systems with proper bend radius protection, well-defined
cable routing paths, easy fibre access, and physical protection
will enable providers to reap the full benefits of fibre
and operate highly profitable networks. |

Greenwoods
Communications recent partnership with ADC, means Greenwoods customers
can now benefit from ADC's quality product range. For example, ADC's
FiberGuide® system is the industry's most comprehensive fibre raceway
system. Strong, durable and flexible, the FiberGuide® system ensures
total off-frame fibre protection and excellent bend radius control.
Easy to install, the FiberGuide® system maintains its supporting strength
and provides superior protection to critical fibre cables.
Today, ADC introduces the latest addition to its FiberGuide® family.
The Snap-Fit Junction is the first and only completely tool-less junction
available on the market. With no additional tools needed to install
or remove, the junction is ready to install immediately upon arrival.
With typical installation time reduced by 1 to 3 minutes per junction,
this equates, in real-terms, to 1-2 hours' time-saving for an average,
overall installation. This not only saves service providers valuable
time but provides considerable cost savings, whilst ensuring fibre
management and bend radius protection at the same time.
Both ADC's FiberGuide® system and Snap-Fit Junction are zone 4 compliant,
per the Telcordia standard GR-63, meaning they can withstand even
the most rigorous environmental conditions, such as earthquakes, which
is critical for service providers undertaking international projects
in areas where this may be a serious issue.
The Snap-Fit Junction is just the first step in reducing the installation
time of the entire product line and ADC looks forward to introducing
new solutions in the future. |
