Scoops Coveted Deloitte & Touche Fast 50 Awards - 1st

| Greenwoods Communications,
a leading provider of solutions for communications networks,
was awarded the prestigious Deloitte & Touche Fast 50
Award at an award ceremony on 1 March, 2001 in Birmingham's
National Motorcycle Museum. The awards are in recognition
of the Midlands's fastest growing technology companies,
based on turnover growth from 1997 to 1999. John Greenwood,
managing director and founder of Greenwoods Communications,
accepted the award on behalf of the company which has
seen 40 per cent year on year growth since its foundation
in 1989. |

Greenwoods Communications
is one of the UK's leading independent providers of custom-built
solutions for telecom network operators and OEMs. The company
supplies the major OEMs, network operators, mobile operators
and cable TV companies with a complete range of modular services,
including outsourcing of procurement and logistics, network
installation and de-installation, and custom design and manufacture.
Customers include Alcatel, Cable & Wireless, Easynet, Fibernet,
Flag Telecom, Global Crossing, Nokia, Nortel Networks, NTL,
Orange, Thus and T-Mobile. Greenwoods is actively involved in
building DSL and 3G networks throughout the UK and currently
employs 400 staff.
