Greenwoods Introduces
New Testing Tools To Network Equipment Product Range -
26th July 2001
| |
|
 |
| Greenwoods Communications,
is offering a range of Test-um Inc. products enabling
datacom, telecom and alarm and security technicians to
test network equipment. The products offer superior functionality
at a fraction of the cost compared to alternative testing
tools available on the market. |
 |
|
|
|
The range offered by Greenwoods comprises Test-um's
Tone Generator, Tone Tracer, LanRover and Talk-to-Me products. The
combination of the Tone Generator and Tone Tracer enables engineers
to identify an individual wire, while the LanRover tests wires for
shorts, breaks, miswires, reversals and split pairs and displays the
results on the main and remote unit, within seconds of plugging in
a cable.
The Talk-to-Me is a set of hands-free personal communications tools
which allow technicians to communicate with each other without interference
over coax cable, audio cable, speaker wire, telephone lines and common
electrical wiring.
The testing product range will be available to customers off the shelf
from Greenwoods' extensive warehouse facility in Birmingham. |
